Today I’m thankful. I’m thankful for the freedoms that we have in this country to do the things that make us happy. No, we’re not perfect. We have our flaws. We argue, bicker, pick, and sometimes even fight. But above all, we care about each other. I don’t care how much we don’t like to admit it, we truly love each other. Like brothers and sisters.
Just like my family. I don’t like to brag. But my family is pretty awesome. The kids can’t stand each other sometimes, but they truly do love each other. Kira and I try hard every summer to take advantage of these few short years to make memories with them. We have been to over 20 different states and 7 different national parks. I hope our kids remember these years, even though they argue, bicker, pick and sometimes even fight. On second thought… I would like to brag! I’m mighty proud of this little family even with all of our imperfections. Have a happy 4th y’all! We’re headed to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park!
